Our Roofing Experience

We have a 3600 square foot house in the Santa Cruz Mountains that had a shake roof. Our concern for the fire danger reached a peak last summer when the house on the ridge behind us burned down, sending ash and burning debris everywhere.

Since the roof was more than 20 years old, it was time for it to be replaced.

Daddario Roofing provided us with samples of the various types of roofing, and we discussed some of the unique problems that we face here in the mountains, such as winds over 100 mph during the winter.

We settled on a solution that was good looking, fireproof, and met our needs.

The tear-off proceeded rapidly and was monitored by Daddario. The re-roofing went smoothly and at the end of the week, the roof was done. Following on was the replacement of all gutters and down spouts.
